Through seven thematic sections, the exhibition approached climate adaptation not only as a technical challenge but also as a spatial, social, and cultural process.

Participation in Hamburger Architektursommer 2026 offered Cooling Havens a valuable opportunity to engage with a diverse audience of architects, landscape designers, researchers, and citizens. Visitors came to the exhibition not simply to learn about a funded project, but to reflect on the evolving relationship between cities and climate. Positioned at the intersection of science, art, and urban theory, the exhibition created a setting in which the solutions developed through Cooling Havens could be understood beyond their technical dimensions.

The approaches promoted by the project were presented within a broader discussion on how contemporary cities can respond to climate pressures while maintaining their connection to nature, enhancing urban biodiversity, and preserving their quality as places of everyday life.
